This weekend the 5th round of the UCI World cup took place in Rotorua and I liked the event, big up to the organisers. Today was also the perfect occasion to close down a very successful 2009 where I won 3 UCI world cups with the overall, a 2nd place in the Worlds which should have been 1st in fact (I'm a nagger I know lol) and wherein I managed to be the first trials rider ever having his own TV show on an international platform, beside that I also passed many times on national TV and after todays victory I jump back to the UCI number one general ranking so I'm very very happy now and it is motivating me even more to know I can still progress and try to beat the Frenchies next year... For the record I also have now 6 overall UCI World cup titles and I hope many more to come All week long I was thinking about my bitter 2nd place in Canberra and about how I would continue my career but after all I am realizing I really love to compete so I was motivated again to take my bike and pretend like all this didn't happen. I won both semi finals and finals today and Wesley got 2nd which is his best performance ever in a World Cup.
